Opportunities From: Westervelt

1. Promptness is important!  At the beginning of the day, there is a mandatory safety meeting that all volunteers must participate in. Volunteers should arrive at least 5 minutes early to park and check-in. Your work day will be split into two shifts. Shift #1 will be 8:30 a.m. - noon. Shift #2 will be 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.   

2.  Closed-toe shoes are required and volunteers must wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty. If shorts are worn, they should be an appropriate length. Shirts have to be full sized (no tank tops or cut-outs under the arms with sports bras or midriff showing). No over-sized jewelry.  

3. Habitat provides all tools, equipment and safety gear (if needed). Water and ice will also be provided.   

4.Each volunteer must also complete our online waiver "BEFORE" being able to work with us.  If you have already done so this calendar year, there is no need to sign it again.  If you haven't done so, here is the link to the waiver. Please attempt to do the online waiver. If you have issues with the platform, I have attached the physical waiver that you can sign and bring with you. Please let that be your last resort. Again, please note that completing our waiver of liability is MANDATORY! We will not verify the hours of any volunteer who has not completed a waiver of liability. 

5. The site address where you'll be working is 4235 Milestone Circle, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. If you have trouble finding this address in your gps, please look for 3204 42nd Ave. Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. This is the last house in the neighborhood right before our new Milestone community.
